Neck Lift and Liposuction

A neck lift is a procedure designed to help define your jaw line and neck with the goal of achieving a more youthful appearance. A neck lift with or without liposuction is one of the most common procedures performed by facial plastic surgeons and is commonly performed by Dr Bonaparte at his Private Office in Ottawa.

The procedure involves a number of connected procedures to improve the appearance of your Neck. Dr Bonaparte starts by performing neck liposuction. Neck liposuction is a safe and very effective procedure that can permanently remove fat from your neck and fat from under your chin. Performing neck liposuction typically takes 30-45 minutes. After removing the fat in your neck, Dr Bonaparte then performs the neck lift procedure. To perform the neck lift, Dr Bonaparte utilizes a small well-hidden incision under the chin and behind the ear. This allows him to tighten the tissue of the neck and the muscles that can sag in the neck. From time to time, to improve the neck lift, Dr Bonaparte removes some skin from behind your ear that is hidden in your hairline. Doing all this, allows you to achieve a contoured and rejuvenated neck and jaw line.

A neck lift can be performed alone or along with a face lift procedure, often achieving dramatic results while minimizing total downtime. Doing a neck lift here in Ottawa at Dr Bonaparte’s private office is a safe and effective way to help you achieve the results you desire.
